52 Photos Project: Week 2: Let the Sunshine In
City of dust and blazing sun,
For three years you've been home.
I imagine movers labeling boxes.
The contents marked
"Dust and Books"
In black-markered scrawl.
Could they pack the sun for me instead?
An east coast girl,
This miracle of desert light isn't lost on me.
Luminosity
Stretching out for days.

and"luminosity...stretching out for days"...love that.
Amusement, wild-abandon, open space...anything is possible. I love this photo. Your words left me equally captivated.

oh that photo. i love it, such joy.
and your words. "dust and books" "luminosity stretching out for days"
what a gift you have with words.
Well, it is my duty to remind you, so you can prepare yourself and little Liza ;o} that when you get back to parts east, there is this "little thing" we like to call HUMIDITY! Something I am sure Liza is going to have, shall we say, an issue with. LOL As I sit here and contemplate your return to the "wet lands", and I look at pictures of our sweet little wild haired girl, I can only imagine and snicker at how her wild hair will increase exponentially in this climate. Don't hate me Claire, you know I love you :o)j/k
I'm loving your photo & words.
Beautiful lights in your life.
Thank you for linking up again :)
