1. I hate having wet feet.
2. I love to eat in fine restaurants where the food is art.
3. Tea rooms, farmer's markets, and small towns with vibrant main streets thrill me.
4. So does live theater.
5. I nap for at least 20 minutes nearly every day.
6. I prefer my red wine before dinner while I'm cooking.
7. My refrigerator doors are filled with two weeks of preschool art projects (handprints, apples, letters, and circle art). For some reason it makes me feel as if I have finally arrived as a mother.
8. Someday I'd love to live at the beach. It's where I feel the most like me.
9. Last week I rode a bike for the first time in 19 years. I now own that bike.

1. I see dead people (most weeks).
2. I've always wanted to put that on a list about myself. It's weird, and sensationalist, and rather unique.
3. I have pretty intense "gallows humor" as they call it in my profession.
4. I read 6 blogs daily M-F.
5. I would much rather be with people than talk on the phone to people.
6. I get 9-10 hours of sleep most nights.
7. Full time work has made me shift from reading theology before bed to reading novels.
8. I'm deeply proud of being West Virginian and can't bear to call myself Californian.
9. Porches with friends and family are heavenly.
10. I'm a sucker for bodies of water. I think rivers might be my favorite for now.
