WITL 2012 - Tuesday

Morning
Had a little time to myself this morning, so I wandered a bit in the bookstore. I picked up a new journal (my favorite soft-covered Moleskine with blank pages). Lately I've been filling a journal every two months. It's exciting for me to see one end, looking back at all the words I've laid down inside. Then beginning a new one, I wonder what stories it will hold.
Noon
She's a little artist, this one, and she'd much rather create on a whim than be given step-by-step instructions for completing a project. Today she wanted an easel. She used my plate stand and didn't seem bothered at all that it was covered in dust.
Night
Clouds are a rare sight here in the desert. I'm taking a photography class at the moment, and today's lesson was on light. Fun to be able to play with the different light and shadows the clouds provided.

there is something about a brand new journal isn't there? all that white space waiting to be filled.

and though i don't write in a journal as much it is so nice to have all your days written down somewhere. i went back through three years worth of blog posts the other day and was amazed at how things have changed over days and weeks and months.

i have a little artist too, love it.

good luck with your class!

I love new notebooks! Alas, I am not so good at filling them, but I do enjoy looking at them :)

I love blank journals. The promise of things to come. Paper Zone went out of business in our area recently and I stocked up on blank journals at 30% off. Doesn't matter. I still buy more.
